Livestreamed Classes

When are you going to open back up?

We never shutdown. Click here to read about our response to the pandemic.

Is livestreamed as good as in-person?

We think so. Actually, we have worked really hard to master the tech to bring professionally-delivered classes to you online.

What program do you use for online classes?

Mostly, MindBody Livestream, sometimes Zoom. When we want to deliver really good sound, we use Zoom. Regular meditation classes are through MindBody.

Either way, we send you the link for your class/event about thirty minutes before start time. Please make sure to whitelist us in your email program so you get the class information from us.

Class Etiquette—In Person

What the heck should I wear?

The great thing about meditation is that no special equipment or clothing is necessary. Just take off your shoes before you enter the meditation room.

Can I call my friend during?

We understand it’s an amazing experience you’d love to share, but please wait until the end of a session. We provide cubbies for your belongings. Please power off your phone and store it with your valuables.

I’M READY. When should I arrive?

It is best to arrive 10 minutes early. Give yourself time to get comfortable while our instructors can check you in. Once the session has begun, no late arrivals will be allowed into the meditation room.

What about my camera?

Do what is comfortable for you. Consider turning your camera off if bandwidth is an issue. We don’t require your camera to be on. Many of our students turn their cameras off. It is good feedback for your teacher to be able to see how your doing when you camera is on. Your choice. Do what feels right to you.

What about my mic?

Your mic needs to be muted during the meditation. Some classes chat before or after class, but interacting is not required. Your teacher will say “hi” when you enter the virtual classroom, but does not expect you to speak unless you want to.

Can I get a recording of my class?

We do our best to record our classes and offer access to recorded class library to Unlimited Members. Click here for more about Unlimited Membership.

Hmmm… How do I sit?

Just seat yourself comfortably! We have a variety of seating options along with props to accommodate every type of meditator. You’re also welcome to bring your own cushion or support.

Can I yell out in celebration of my immediate mental clarity after class?

Yes, but please make your way to our comfy resource area for conversation and any questions you may have for the instructor. Some meditators come out of their meditation more slowly than others.
